Red Hot & Country was first established in 1996 by Kelvin Dale & Samantha Dixon. Prior to that time, both had danced for many years with Sydney Linedancers, under the tutorlidge of the late Lance Pritchard.

Kelvin is a Primary School teacher and Samantha is a Pre School teacher.
