RED HOT and COUNTRY'S CHRISTMAS SOCIAL

 
was held on 17 December 2011
  Everyone got into the spirit of the night and the dance floor was a sea
of "Christmassy" colours and outfits
THANK YOU to everyone who came along to help us celebrate - not only Christmas
- but also Kelvin's birthday

Those in attendance were spoiled with a delicious caramel mud cake created by his wife Pauline

Some favourite dances of the night included the classic Bayou City Twister, Buffalo Stampede and
Deep River, while the new favourites included I missed you, You save me
and Moves a like (which was danced twice)

There are always lots of line dancing events and RED HOT and COUNTRY is proud to involved.

COUNTRY PROUD

Kathryn and Kelvin's new dance COUNTRY PROUD can now be seen
on RED HOT and COUNTRY's youtube page
 
A 32 count, intermediate dance to the new McAlister Kemp song - all of us at RED HOT are big fans of these guys. The track is off their album which will be released at "rocks the hunter" in March, the single can be purchased from itunes.
 The dance can be modified to make it even easier (alternate steps are on the dance sheet and shown in the video), there are quite a few tags and 2 easy restarts.

Line Dance Association of Australia

20th Annual Australian Line Dance Championships

Commencing Monday 23rd January 2012 with Solo Sections
 
Have you competed in the ALDC competition before?

Why not come along and join in the 10th Anniversary celebrations and dance one more time "for old time's sake" ?
Let's make the 20th Anniversary of the ALDC an anniversary to remember !!

The ALDC Committee extends an invitation to all clubs and dancers who have competed over the last twenty years to dust of the old routines (and boots) or develop some new routines and dance in the competition in 2012.
It would be wonderful to see as many past and present competitors enter to make it the best Championships ever.
Rules and entry details will be available to download from the ALDC website shortly.
