Linda Burgess

Linda Burgess is a teacher and choreographer in the Seven Hills, Blacktown and Parramatta Area of Sydney. She is passionate about choreographing and  has choreographed over 150 dances, some of  which have been taught throughout Australia and overseas , and  have won awards in local and state competitions.

Linda has been a dancer since she was 3, and has been involved in both performance, teaching & choreography of varius dance genres; e.g. classical ballet, jazz, russian cossack , adagio and ballroom.  

 

 

 

She started linedancing 10 years ago and then competed in linedancing competitions about 6 years ago, mostly the choreography comps, and occasionally danced in other championship sections  with her son Mitch and also with daughter Rachel.

 Over the last couple of years Linda has teamed up with 2 teachers from Sydney to compete in the Australian championships, and just recently was asked to dance with Samantha Dixon and Kristen Wade from Red Hot & Country for the 2007 Australian  Championships in Tamworth, where we  came home with Gold, Silver & Bronze medals.

Well done "Red Hot & Country"!!!!!  We won the trifecta!!!
